Strategic Sales Rep - Full-Time

Strategic Sales Representative  

 Position Description:Seeking ambitious and highly-motivated person to lead sales efforts of enterprise energy efficiency and green building Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for large commercial and higher education markets.  Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will drive enterprise software solutions and professional services revenue by identifying, pursuing and closing new and existing customers.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

·         Understand the drivers of buying decisions in the target markets and channels.

·         Develop and deliver the appropriate value proposition to each target segment.

·         Develop new customers and creating loyalty with existing customers. 

·         Direct sales responsibility and accountability.

·         Accountable for achieving customer satisfaction and revenue and margin objectives.

·         Maintain and drive high level of weekly sales activities.

·         Partner with Operations, Sales, and Marketing functions in delivering key customer value propositions.

·         Develop, implement, and manage project opportunity pipeline in target customer segments and markets. 

·         Work to increase the number and frequency of products being incorporated into projects and specifications.

·         Develop strong relationships with channel partners and customers to understand what these customers value and to find ways to meet their needs to profitably win their business.

·         Develop proper expectations in sales cycles that result in customers who can be used as positive references for future prospects.

Required Qualifications:

·         Demonstrate ability too   Exceed quarterly and annual sales objectiveso   Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunitieso   Develop and maintain effective business, sales and marketing planso   Implement and follow successful sales processeso   Self-starter and independent thinker with the aptitude to work autonomouslyo   Resolve broadly-defined, complex, diverse, and occasionally unprecedented situations.

·   Strong ability to create sales presentations, messages, position statements, and other sales collateral.

·         Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with C-Level or senior business executives.

·         Excellent time management and follow-up skills.

·         Excellent PC and Internet skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, sales force automation and web meeting tools.

·         Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with and manage cross functional teams

·         Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

·         Flexible in work schedule.

·         Willing to travel up to 50% of time.

Required Education and Experience:

·         Strong sales experience (>7 years) in commercial sector, focus on building automation or energy related systems a big plus

·         Experience with selling products or services that require support from field and application engineering services and resolving warranty and customer claims.

·         Proven track recording in delivering major profit driving sales growth.

·         Prefer BA/BS degree or similar degree, but industry experience and track record of success will weigh more heavily.

 

Compensation:
Salary plus excellent commission plan. Company benefits include health package, matching 401K, dental, long term disability, flex spending, professional training, and PTO. More information will be provided on request.
