THE JOB:
Quality Attributes Software (QAS) is looking for a talented Graphic / Interface Designer to create and enhance user interfaces for interactive touch screens and websites. We design primarily for flash interfaces but occasionally do css/xhtml sites. If you are experienced or familiar with the areas of graphic design, web design, print design, information architecture, user experience, and enjoy researching to push the overall interactive experience, this is a great career opportunity to contribute to the front-end design of web applications and the overall visual identity of our company. THE COMPANY:

RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:

  • Designing high quality and unique proofs/mockups
  • Ability to understand complex systems / technical drawings and depict them graphically
  • Experimenting with multiple design applications to yield unique results
  • Able to quickly research, evaluate and suggest options for solving design / front-end hurdles
  • An understanding that overall design must be usable by a target audience
  • Ability to recognize clients needs through design meetings
  • Ability to create marketing materials, such as brochures, banners, business cards, etc.
  • Communicating with team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

  • Self-learning

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.F.A. in Graphic Design or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with the following Adobe products:
    • Fireworks
    • Photoshop
    • Illustrator
    • Dreamweaver
    • InDesign
  • Ability to design with a “usability” mentality

OTHER USEFUL SKILLS:

  • Experience designing/developing for Flash environments
  • Experience with front-end programming such as javascript/css/xhtml
  • Experience with animation or 3D rendering
