"By constantly having their energy consumption displayed on the GreenTouchscreen®, our students are developing a new awareness of how their habits impact the environment. It also invokes a sense of energy competitiveness between the students that live there. Having the website available to the rest of the campus (and the world) sends a message of 'we care' in the sense of environmental stewardship." Mike Lubberden, Director, Construction and Energy Management Central College Pella, Iowa

Live Data

Make your green building come alive! GreenTouchscreen’s live data, powered by the core technology of iBPortal™, can tie into building automation systems or individual metering devices to monitor energy data in real time.

Educate your audience by displaying live data such as current energy and water usage, the amount of CO2 being kept from the atmosphere, outdoor air conditions, and much more. Show live data on floor plans like energy use, temperatures or occupancy.

Show historical data such as energy consumption or outdoor air temperature by hour, day, week, month or year. Using the building’s before-renovation data or conventional building data, users can view a visual depiction of the amount of energy and water saved by graphically comparing trends to the present.

You are able to prove to users that building green is worthwhile and that the project will pay for itself in the long run.

GreenTouchscreen® can tie into building automation systems or individual metering devices to monitor energy data in real time. We offer a variety of building automation system integration options including:

• BACnet/IP
• OPC
• LON
• Modbus
• Web Services

Display up to the minute weather information from a local weather station or online weather service. Allow viewers to see radar images, daily or weekly forecasts, as well as past weather conditions for your location.

Display the current outdoor air conditions on the kiosk template so users always see the weather.

Current data most commonly displayed includes outdoor air temperature, humidity and wind direction and speed. Past data includes historical highs and lows, total precipitation, and historical weather trends.
