The customized GreenTouchscreen® kiosk complements the building’s learning environment by highlighting environment and energy conserving systems that might otherwise be missed by visitors, such as the purchase of 100% green energy credits for the center’s power usage. It guides users through the center’s green features, teaches visitors about sustainable buildings and LEED®, and explains the LEED® credits achieved by Allsteel and sister company, Gunlocke.

The San Francisco Resource Center clearly demonstrates this commitment with its silver certification in LEED® for Commercial Interiors (LEED®-CI), the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) rating system for high-performance green interiors.
